Most Magical Time of the Year

Nowadays, as an entrepreneur, a business owner, and a mom who works from home, I adore it when the kids are now going back to school.

Those calming moments when the kids are out the door, I enjoy how quiet my home becomes. I love that I've finally realized that I need to put my work on hold before the kids get home so that I can switch into mom mode and not feel completely frazzled when they come in and want to tell me all about their day. I am excited about it and now it's the time of the year again that it happens.

The seasons are now changing for us entrepreneurs and work-from-home moms, and my tip is to make use of this as an opportunity to reflect on the progress that you have had. Evaluate your schedule since there will be a shift within your time. Decide how you want to work and when you want to work. What worked best for your current season and schedule? Trust me, it will make all the difference, and you can move these things around and have them work well.

The main point of this week's episode is simple; I want you to realize that you do not have to work all the hours to build a profitable business that will support your family and your life. Give yourself the flexibility and freedom, and then start showing yourself you can make more money with less time at work than you think. Plan your calendar, evaluate your time so you can build the life you are trying to develop, and do your business to support it.

You're the boss! As your first assignment for this school year, I want you to look at your calendar and make it work for you.
